Frequently Asked Questions
What is Diffit’s new word problems prototype?
We’re trying out a new tool to help teachers create math word problems that connect student interests with key math skills. We hope this will save you time while making word problems more relevant and engaging for your students.
This is a prototype, which means we’re in the early stages and testing it out with teachers like you. Your feedback will help us fine-tune the tool and decide how (or if) it becomes part of Diffit in the future.
What is a prototype?
A prototype (or beta version) is an early version of a tool that’s still being tested.
We’re giving teachers early access to:
See what’s working
Learn what’s confusing or needs improvement
Make sure it’s actually helpful before deciding what’s next
Since this is a prototype, there’s a chance the feature could change—or we may decide not to move forward with it—depending on what we learn.
Why is the URL different?
We’re hosting this feature separately on math.diffit.me so we can experiment and improve it without affecting other parts of Diffit. If the feature becomes a permanent part of Diffit, we’ll make sure it’s all in one place.
Is this free to use?
Yes, this feature is free to use while we’re in the prototype phase. We’re still figuring out how (or if) it will fit into Diffit’s offerings in the future, but for now, feel free to give it a try!
How can I give feedback?
We’d love to hear what you think! You can submit feedback for this tool here.
Will this become part of Diffit?
We’re not sure yet! We’re testing the feature now to see how well it works and how teachers use it. If it becomes a permanent part of Diffit, we’ll let you know!
Can I share this with other teachers?
Yes, absolutely! Feel free to share the math.diffit.me link with other teachers.
Since we’re still in the testing phase, we just ask that you let them know it’s a prototype so they understand that things might change along the way.
