Diffit in Claude
Using Diffit in Claude
Diffit now connects to Claude, so you can get quality, classroom-ready resources seamlessly while using an industry-leading AI assistant for teachers.
Simply turn on the Diffit connector and ask Claude for what you need!
How it works
Ask Claude for any supplemental resource or differentiation support - a handout, sub plan, station rotations, quick activity, scaffolding, leveling or translation support, or anything else - and Diffit generates it while you watch. Open the finished resource in Diffit to edit, adjust, and export.
To use Difft in Claude, you’ll need to connect Diffit:
In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and search for Diffit.
Click Connect. A Diffit page will open asking you to authorize.
Choose Sign in to Diffit — or Continue as guest to try it without an account.
That's it. You only do this once.
How to get classroom-ready resources
Just ask Claude in plain language. For example:
▎ "Make a printable packet on the water cycle for my 5th graders, with comprehension questions. Also include a reading passage and word search activity."
▎ "Create an activity about the American Revolution for 8th grade — in English and Spanish."
▎ "I need a sub plan that gives additional practice on the standard CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.5.NF.A.2, with teacher instructions."
Claude may ask a quick clarifying question (grade level, how you'll use it), then Diffit gets to work. Generation takes about a minute — you can watch the progress in Claude, or click Open in Diffit to watch it build there.
Editing and exporting
Everything after creation happens in Diffit, at the link Claude gives you. There you can edit any section, change the reading level, translate it, add companion activities, and print or export to Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Forms, PDF, Word, or PowerPoint.
No Diffit account? No problem.
If you don't have a Diffit account, you can still make ready-to-go resources using Claude. After a while, you will be asked to log in to Diffit or create a free Diffit account to continue - but any resources you created before will still be available to you, too.
